Welcome to KymMarsh.co.uk
Kym Marsh was born on the 13th June 1976 in Whiston, Merseyside. She is best known as being a member of the original 'reality TV contest' winners Hear'Say, formed after a competition shown nationally on ITV called Popstars.
After Hear'Say split, Kym was signed as a solo artist and had initial success with Cry which went to number 2 in the UK charts. Her second single didn't fair as well, reaching only number 10. Sentimental, her 'make or break' single stuttered into the charts at number 35 and she was subsequently dropped by her record label Island Records.
More recently, Kym has been seen on our screens playing Michelle Connor in Coronation Street. She has been part of some major story lines, being engaged to one of the shows main characters (Steve McDonald) and dealing with his affair with Becky.
Kym has also appeared on Loose Women, Doctors (BBC), Holby City and the Hollyoaks spin off Hollyoaks: In The City.
With other film and tv appearances, Kym is fast becoming a well known actress, singer and presenter and her future looks bright.
On 19 June 2008, Marsh signed a £100,000 contract to stay on Coronation Street for at least another year and commented that she "would never get bored of the ITV soap".
